SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - January 30, 2018 – All paws on deck! Following the continued success of the PAW Patrol Live! “Race to the Rescue” tour, Nickelodeon, VStar Entertainment Group and TEG Life Like Touring today announced a second live stage show based on PAW Patrol, the top-rated preschool series produced by Spin Master Entertainment. The new action-packed, music-filled production, PAW Patrol Live! “The Great Pirate Adventure,” will feature the beloved characters from the animated series, and will begin touring Australia in May 2018. Tickets to see the pups embark on this pirate-themed voyage go on sale to the general public through Ticketek on Thursday, 8 February for the first six tour cities, including Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Geelong, Adelaide and Perth.

In PAW Patrol Live! “The Great Pirate Adventure,” Mayor Goodway is getting everything shipshape for a big Pirate Day celebration in Adventure Bay. When Cap’n Turbot falls into a dark and mysterious cavern, it’s PAW Patrol to the rescue! Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Skye, Rocky and Zuma save Cap'n Turbot and discover a secret pirate treasure map that leads them on an epic adventure. Over land and on the high seas, the pups set out to find the treasure for Mayor Goodway so the celebration can go on. Things get ruff when Mayor Humdinger wants to find the treasure first for Foggy Bottom. The pups need all paws on deck for this pirate adventure, including help from the newest pup who’s all ears…Tracker! Using their heroic rescue skills, problem solving and teamwork, the pups set sail to save the day. No job is too big, no pirate pup is too small!

Similar to PAW Patrol Live! “Race to the Rescue,” which continues to tour the world in 2018, this new show, PAW Patrol Live! “The Great Pirate Adventure,” includes two acts and an intermission, and incorporates an innovative costume approach to help bring the pups to life on stage as well as their vehicles and packs during the adventure.

“PAW Patrol Live! has become a huge touring success for Nickelodeon, with ‘Race to the Rescue’ playing to sellout crowds during its inaugural year on the road,” said Gerald Raines, Senior Vice President, Global Location Based Experiences, Nickelodeon Group. “In response to massive demand, we’re delighted to roll out PAW Patrol Live! ‘The Great Pirate Adventure,’ giving kids and families across the country an opportunity to go on a brand new adventure with the heroic pack of pups.”

“We’re incredibly excited to expand our ongoing partnership with Nickelodeon, which will allow us to bring PAW Patrol fans a completely new and memorable experience with their favourite pups on the stage,” said Eric Grilly, CEO, VStar Entertainment Group. “Like ‘Race to the Rescue,’ this is a high quality production that we are very proud of, featuring an outstanding cast, unique costumes that add dimension to each character on stage and fun musical numbers.”

“PAW Patrol continues to go from strength to strength, whether it’s on air, online, in retail or now back on the big stage, Australian families are getting more opportunities to interact with the characters they know and love,” said Ben Cox, General Manager and Vice President of Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand. “We’re thrilled to bring PAW Patrol Live! "The Great Pirate Adventure’ to Australia and continue to explore exciting and relevant ways to bring the series off-screen.

"Australian audiences overwhelmed us with requests for another tour after PAW Patrol Live! "Race to the Rescue" sold out in 2017," said Anton Berezin, Managing Director, TEG Life Like Touring. "We are excited to partner with VStar Entertainment Group and Nickelodeon once again to bring a brand new adventure back home this year with PAW Patrol Live! "The Great Pirate Adventure." This new production is absolutely wonderful. We are so excited to share it with the fans!”
