ATM
ATM located in the foyer of Newcastle Entertainment Centre. Eftpos facilities are availabe at most catering outlets.

Baby Change Table
Baby Change Table is located behind the seating near the Kiosk at door 2. You must have a ticket to access this area.

Box Office
Newcastle Entertainment Centre is a Ticketek venue. Box Office is open at events only. Book tickets online at Ticketek.

Cameras
Small digital cameras are accepted at most events (flash must be off at all times). Cameras with a zoom larger then 14x, video cameras and audio recording devices are not permitted at any event.

Car Parking
Available on site within the Newcastle Showground with entry via Griffiths Road. A fee of $10.00 is charged for concerts, family and sporting events and $5.00 for most Exhibitions. Closest drop off point for patrons with disabilities is Brown Road entrance. Disabled parking is also available on site within the Showground.

Children
Children 2 years of age and older require a ticket to enter the Arena and must occupy their ticketed seat. Please note that some shows (especially those intended for children) will have a different age policy. Please see the specific event page for further information.

Cloak Room
The NEC only cloaks prohibited or confiscated items.

Companion Cards are accepted for most events, please email admin@nec.net.au for all enquiries and bookings.

Dress Code
All guests in attendance are required to be fully dressed and wear shoes at all times for their own safety. Newcastle Entertainment Centre reserves the right to deny entry to guests wearing clothing items displaying offensive text and/or images.

Earplugs are available for purchase at the Confectionary outlet in the Foyer.

First Aid Room
First Aid Room is located within the venue. St John's Ambulance is engaged for all public events.

Flyers/Handouts/Product Samples
The distribution of promotional items, flyers, or printed materials is not permitted without written permission from Newcastle Entertainment Centre and/or its Hirers. The sampling and distribution of products is also prohibited.

Food & Beverages
The Newcastle Entertainment Centre has number of food and beverage facilities for your convenience. Bars, kiosks and confectionery outlets are available serving a variety of food and beverages and are open approximately two hours prior to events.

Lost Property or Tickets
All lost property or tickets is held at reception during an event. Please email admin@nec.net.au for any enquiries.

Medical Conditions
If you have a medical condition that requires you to carry medication (eg. EpiPens or insulin pens) please let security know that you have these items with you upon arrival.

Merchandise
Merchandise is available for most events. Credit card and EFTPOS facilities are available in each Merchandise outlet.

Prams and Capsules
Prams and capsules are not permitted in the seating area and must be cloaked. Please check with our staff upon arrival as this location may change depending on the event.

Signs
No signs/posters are permitted on the arena floor. Any seated patrons wishing to bring signs must ensure they are smaller than A3 size.

Smoking
Newcastle Entertainment Centre is a non-smoking venue and smoking within the venue is prohibited. This includes E cigarettes and other electronic imitations or simulation devices. A designated smoking area is available for all events. Cigarettes, matches and lighters are not available for sale.

Toilets
Male and female toilets are located throughout the venue, including disabled toilets.

Umbrellas
Umbrellas longer than 300mm (when in the closed position) must be cloaked.

Video Cameras
Video cameras and audio recording devices are not permitted at any event.

Water Bottles
For certain events, one sealed 600ml PET bottle of water per patron may be permitted entry – under no circumstances will an unsealed PET bottle be permitted entry. This may change depending on event.
